Coloring Hair

Hey Everyone!
I haven't been posting recently because I have exams in two weeks and I don't really have the time. But I promise once exams are over I will be much more active :)
So I will do just a quick post on the two most common colour combinations that I use for coloring hair with my Copics: Blonde and Brown hair. You will notice that the colours I have for Brown hair are in the same colour family and they obviously go well together but for the blonde combination they are just random colours. That' s because when I was buying them for the first time I didn't really know how to choose which colours would blend together best. But in the future I will certainly buy more copics for blonde hair.
You can see in the pictures the combinations and an example using Some Odd Girl - Birthday Mae . This is my most recent stamp and I won it from Quixotic Sketch Challenge!!! The prize was actually a  £15 gift certificate and I bought just some stamps.
I hope you will like my colour combinations and please share what colours do you prefer. I am still a beginner so this would help me a lot next time I purchase markers. :)
*For the green eyes I used G05 and G07 and blended them a bit with my colourless blender. I did the same for the blue eyes but I used B00 and B05 ( kind of a big gap between the colours here, but it worked).

iCopic Weekly Challenge #73

The new iCopic Challenge is to use colours from the V family. I only have 2 markers from this colour family but I hope I will be eligible to participate in the challenge. I am using a Stamping Bella image and I stamped it on Bazill Cardstock with my Memento Tuxedo Black. You can see the colours I have used on the picture below.

Copics

So I bought some amazing stamps from Quixotic Paperie (the best shop ever) and I found some time today to colour them. But I when started colouring the skin my E000 was just not working properly. First I thought there was something wrong with the nib but then I saw the white spots on it and I figured it is time to refill. I am a bit amazed though since I have only had that marker for like 3 months... I have been colouring quite a lot but still isn't it a bit too soon to run out??? Anyway I hope I find some time tomorrow to get a refill because I really want to make some new projects with these stamps.

Another thing I wanted to share is that I was chosen as Top 3 picks by the DT members of the iCopic Challenge. I am really proud and excited because I discovered challenges like 2 weeks ago so this first "win" is a huge deal for me! Thank you iCopic!!!

iCopic Challenge

The new iCopic Challenge is about coloring red hair. So I was wondering what kind of image to choose for that when I thought of Ariel. Who else would look that good in red hair? Anyway the colors I used were R27,R29 and R39 for the hair. As usual the skin is colored with E000 and E00, for the eyes I used B05 and for her top RV63 and RV66. I didn't have the chance to turn it into a card but they didn't say it has to be a card so I decided to leave it just like that.
Here is a link to the challenge.

A new card

So I made this card because I just got some new stamps and I wanted to try them out. So for this card I used a Kenny Kiernan for Whimsy Stamps stamp which I absolutely love (my favourite right now) and of course I coloured it with my Copic markers ( I got some new ones as well) .I am using Bazzill Cardstock and some patterned paper. The sentiment is so cute and it's from a Krafite Kimmie stamp set.
Here are the coloures are used for the image:
       Skin: E000,E00,E11
       Hair: E23,E27,E29
       Clothes: B000,B00,B05,RV13,RV14

I am entering this card for:

New Card

Hello, everyone!
I haven't been posting recently because I was extremely busy but I today I made a card for a challenge and I decided to share it my blog. I don't have a lot of materials and since my ATS order has not arrived yet :( I used the same stamp set. The topic of the challenge was Valentine's Day ( a bit late I know but it's until the end of february). I didn't have any love sentiments so I wrote a sentiment by hand. It was a really quick card and it is also my second try to make a card but I hope you will like it :). I used Bazzill Cardstock, First edition Paper Pad, Brads, Ribbon and of course my copic markers to color my image!
That's all for today! And please share your thoughts about my card in the comments :))

Тази картичка е специално за Февруарското предизвикателство на Двете Елши, както и за Мър-Мяу-Забавлятелство Четвърто: "Любов ли бе да я опишеш" :))) Надявам се да Ви хареса!

Shopping

Hi!
So 2 days ago I went to my local  craft store in Vienna and I wasn't planning on buying anything else besides paper pads. And of course I ended up getting tons of stuff. I got 30 sheets of Bazzill Cardstock ( all kinds of colours), 3 paper pads which are absolutely stunning, the Tim Holts Non-stick Micro Serrated Multi Cutter, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eighteen, Spellbinders Nestabilities Heart Circles and my favorite- Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. And that's the reason I haven't posted anything- I just can't stop using my big shot! It is amazing..I need to buy more spellbinders though..and I still can't figure out how to emboss.. but I guess everything will come with time ..
See you soon <3
