Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone!
This weekend I decided to start making Christmas cards! I am very excited even though I don't have a lot of materials suitable for holiday cards in my stash ;( Anyway I subscribed to Quick Cards magazine and I was very surprised when I received a goodie bag full of christmas papers and embellishments. They are from dovecfaft ( if you are interested you can see the offer here )
The cards are very simple. There are no images, no colouring and not a whole lot of embellishments. I used the same stamp for all three cards and I stamped it with Lady Bug Red Memento Ink. The flowers, brads and ribbons are all from the dovecraft. :) And here are the cards:

Update

Heyy everyone,

I just moved to London and I have been trying to settle down for the past weeks which has not been very easy so far. :( I still don't have internet access at home and that's why I haven't been posting.
Anyways, I am back and I am really excited because I just opened my Etsy shop. There aren't a lot of listings yet but I will try to update it regularly :)

Wedding card

I had this 6x6" Wedding Paper Pad that I have never used. Yesterday I decided to put it into use and made this card. It is simple but elegant. I didn't use any images as I thought just a sentiment would be enough for such an occasion. I thought a lot about whether to put a lot of flowers as always but at the end I decided to go with 3 of those C.C. Designs Pixie Roses - they are adorable and are just perfect for this card.  The sentiment is from AmyR's All about Love set and I used Spellbinders Labels 18 to cut it out. At the top angles I put white pearls. The card is also finished inside. This is one of my favourite cards and of course I didn't have time to take a proper picture of it before giving it (  so excuse the bad quality pictures :).

Happy Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend of mine. I used Sugar Chic Paper pad and as you can see in the picture - lots of flowers. The image is called Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta and I think it is very appropriate for a birthday card. The pearls are from Kaiser pearls and I coloured them with my copic markers. I did the same with the flowers. I find it much more efficient to buy white embellishments and colour them by myself because that way I have a lot of different colours but I don't spent a lot of money :) The sentiment is from Kimmie's everyday sentiments and I used Spellbinders Labels 18 to cut it out.
Anyway here are the colours I used for the image and embellishments:

Skin: E000, E00, E93
Hair: YR24, YR31
Clothes: BG13, BG15, V05, V06
Cupcakes: E23, BG13, V05
Flowers: BG13, RV55, Y15
Pearls: E02

* I have added Diamond Stickles Glitter to her wings and the flowers. *

It's your day Card

For this card I was inspired by the Bo Bunny Ambrosia Collection Paper pad. I just bought it and I love the colour combinations that they have used. The stamp is called Some Odd Girl Birthday Mae. The flowers and the little pearls are coloured with copic markers. I am not sure what brand the brads are, I found them in my supplies but I don't remember where I purchased them from. This time I finished the card inside as well.
The colours used for coloring the image are:

Skin: E50, E00, E11
Hair: E23, E27, E29
Clothes: Y15, YR68, V05, BG13, BG15

Flowers: V05, BG13, YR68

C.C. Desings

Last night I coloured some images from C.C Designs. The first one is called Birgitta Blowing Hearts. And the second one is Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta. As always I used my copic markers and here are the colours I used:

For Cupcake Birgitta:
Skin: E50, E00, E11, E93
Hair: YR31, YR24
Clothes: BG13, BG15, RV55, B00
Cupcakes: RV55, E23, B00
Border: B00
Shadow: W0, W1

For Birgitta Blowing Hearts:
Skin: E000, E00, E02
Hair: E23, E27, E29
Clothes: BG15, YG03, YG05, RV13, RV14
Chair: T4, 0
Border: YG05
Shadow: W0, W1

For both images I have used Spellbinders Doily Heart Circles to die cut them. :)

Thank you Card

This is my third attempt to make a card. I didn't have matching embellishments so I used my copic markers to color the flowers and the pearls. The papers I used are from a Basic Grey Paper Pad. For the colouful panel below the sentiment I used a flower stamp but since I don't have any inks yet( apart from black one) I used my copic markers as inks. It did work, however I wouldn't recommend doing this technique with expensive stamps as they do get a little damaged. The colours that I used are:
RV42 Salmon Pink
R27 Cadmium Red
B02 Robin's Egg Blue
Y05 Salad

Here are some pictures of the finished card:

Coloring Hair

Hey Everyone!
I haven't been posting recently because I have exams in two weeks and I don't really have the time. But I promise once exams are over I will be much more active :)
So I will do just a quick post on the two most common colour combinations that I use for coloring hair with my Copics: Blonde and Brown hair. You will notice that the colours I have for Brown hair are in the same colour family and they obviously go well together but for the blonde combination they are just random colours. That' s because when I was buying them for the first time I didn't really know how to choose which colours would blend together best. But in the future I will certainly buy more copics for blonde hair.
You can see in the pictures the combinations and an example using Some Odd Girl - Birthday Mae . This is my most recent stamp and I won it from Quixotic Sketch Challenge!!! The prize was actually a  £15 gift certificate and I bought just some stamps.
I hope you will like my colour combinations and please share what colours do you prefer. I am still a beginner so this would help me a lot next time I purchase markers. :)
*For the green eyes I used G05 and G07 and blended them a bit with my colourless blender. I did the same for the blue eyes but I used B00 and B05 ( kind of a big gap between the colours here, but it worked).

iCopic Weekly Challenge #73

The new iCopic Challenge is to use colours from the V family. I only have 2 markers from this colour family but I hope I will be eligible to participate in the challenge. I am using a Stamping Bella image and I stamped it on Bazill Cardstock with my Memento Tuxedo Black. You can see the colours I have used on the picture below.

Copics

So I bought some amazing stamps from Quixotic Paperie (the best shop ever) and I found some time today to colour them. But I when started colouring the skin my E000 was just not working properly. First I thought there was something wrong with the nib but then I saw the white spots on it and I figured it is time to refill. I am a bit amazed though since I have only had that marker for like 3 months... I have been colouring quite a lot but still isn't it a bit too soon to run out??? Anyway I hope I find some time tomorrow to get a refill because I really want to make some new projects with these stamps.

Another thing I wanted to share is that I was chosen as Top 3 picks by the DT members of the iCopic Challenge. I am really proud and excited because I discovered challenges like 2 weeks ago so this first "win" is a huge deal for me! Thank you iCopic!!!

iCopic Challenge

The new iCopic Challenge is about coloring red hair. So I was wondering what kind of image to choose for that when I thought of Ariel. Who else would look that good in red hair? Anyway the colors I used were R27,R29 and R39 for the hair. As usual the skin is colored with E000 and E00, for the eyes I used B05 and for her top RV63 and RV66. I didn't have the chance to turn it into a card but they didn't say it has to be a card so I decided to leave it just like that.
Here is a link to the challenge.

A new card

So I made this card because I just got some new stamps and I wanted to try them out. So for this card I used a Kenny Kiernan for Whimsy Stamps stamp which I absolutely love (my favourite right now) and of course I coloured it with my Copic markers ( I got some new ones as well) .I am using Bazzill Cardstock and some patterned paper. The sentiment is so cute and it's from a Krafite Kimmie stamp set.
Here are the coloures are used for the image:
       Skin: E000,E00,E11
       Hair: E23,E27,E29
       Clothes: B000,B00,B05,RV13,RV14

New Card

Hello, everyone!
I haven't been posting recently because I was extremely busy but I today I made a card for a challenge and I decided to share it my blog. I don't have a lot of materials and since my ATS order has not arrived yet :( I used the same stamp set. The topic of the challenge was Valentine's Day ( a bit late I know but it's until the end of february). I didn't have any love sentiments so I wrote a sentiment by hand. It was a really quick card and it is also my second try to make a card but I hope you will like it :). I used Bazzill Cardstock, First edition Paper Pad, Brads, Ribbon and of course my copic markers to color my image!
That's all for today! And please share your thoughts about my card in the comments :))

Тази картичка е специално за Февруарското предизвикателство на Двете Елши, както и за Мър-Мяу-Забавлятелство Четвърто: "Любов ли бе да я опишеш" :))) Надявам се да Ви хареса!

Shopping

Hi!
So 2 days ago I went to my local  craft store in Vienna and I wasn't planning on buying anything else besides paper pads. And of course I ended up getting tons of stuff. I got 30 sheets of Bazzill Cardstock ( all kinds of colours), 3 paper pads which are absolutely stunning, the Tim Holts Non-stick Micro Serrated Multi Cutter, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eighteen, Spellbinders Nestabilities Heart Circles and my favorite- Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. And that's the reason I haven't posted anything- I just can't stop using my big shot! It is amazing..I need to buy more spellbinders though..and I still can't figure out how to emboss.. but I guess everything will come with time ..
See you soon <3

So this is the stamp I used and I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored it with my Copic Sketch Markers. Colors I used are E23, E27,E00,E02,E93 and for the little heart RV13, RV14 and I added some glitter just to make it shiny.

My First Stamp Set

Hello everyone!
So in my previous post I told you I bought some materials and one stamp set. It is the Inkadinkado Welcome Baby set and it has some adorable stamps and sentiments as well. It is perfect for baby cards or baby shower invitations. So what I did is I took a new sketch book and I stamped and colored all the stamps so that I keep track of my stamps. I can't wait to make a card with them..And here is a link to the stamp set I found online: http://www.eksuccessbrands.com/Inkadinkado/Products/Welcome_Baby_60-30108.htm

First things I got

Hii everyone!
Yesterday I found out that there is a scrapbooking shop in Vienna so I went to check it out. It took me an hour to get there but it was worth it. I bought a couple of things including my first rubber stamps, patterned paper, memento ink and brads. I also bought some really cute ribbons and a silver glitter glue.  Everything was just about 60 euros.
I wanted to buy more stamps but I didn't really like them. However I got a baby stamp set which is really cute. I also got some card stock in different colors...
I am so glad I found this shop and I can't wait to make my first card.. I will be making it probably today or tomorrow and of course I will post  some pictures.

Which Copic Markers do I have and how I store them?

In this post I am going to talk about my Copic Markers (I don't have a lot of them yet). The Copic Markers are alcohol-based and they are really easy to blend. They come in different types: Ciao, Original and Sketch. Mine are the Sketch markers and I personally think they are the best. So you probably know there are different colour families so I am going to list mine and then when I post pictures of images you can know the colours I have used. Keep in mind that the letter stands for the colour family, then the first digit is the saturation and the second digit shows how light the marker is. And finally here is the list of my markers:
[B-Blue]
    B000, B00
[YR-Yellow Red]
    YR21, YR34
[R-Red]
     R27, R29, R39
[RV-Red Violet]
     RV13, RV14, RV55, RV63, RV66
 [E-Earth]
    E000, E00, E02, E23, E27, E55, E70, E74, E87, E93
[T-Toner Gray]
     T4
[0]
    Colorless blender

Basically, those are all the colours I have. I do own quite a lot of the earth tones but that's partly because I use them all the time. For example E000, E00 and E93 is my favorite combination so far. And the E23 and E27 I use for brown hair, although I really need the E25 to really blend the ones I do have. The other earth tones I haven't used yet because they were a gift and they weren't chosen very well as they don't go together at all. So if I want to use them I will have to buy colours that are   close to them( eg. I have E55 it would be nice to have like E57). My absolutely favourite colours are the red. They are really saturated and you should be very careful when using them but the colours are amazing. The next colours that I am definitely buying are the warm grays because they are awesome for shading.

In the beginning I used to store my markers in like different cases or whatever I found suitable but now I got a Copic wallet for my birthday and I am so happyyyy!!! I don't have enough markers to fill it yet and that's why I have also added a pencil and two multiliners that I use literally all the time.

So that's all about my collection of Copic Markerss :))
Bye <3

Hello everyone!
This is my first post ever so I thought I should say something about me. My name is Bilyana and I am 18 years old. Currently living and studying in Vienna but most likely I will be going to London in September. Anyway my obsession with scrapbooking and cardmaking is just starting so I am not that experienced and I hope my post will be helpful for other beginners like me. So far I have been coloring stamps for most of the time because I just got my Copic Markers 3 months ago and I needed some training. Now that I feel I know almost everything there is to know about the absolutely amazing Copic Markers I am starting to explore cardmaking and later scrapbooking. Once I get more experienced I can make some videos and give you some tips on how to start scrapbooking!
